Your journey begins in St. John's, where you'll meet your friendly local guide just outside the duty-free clothing shop Exotica Antigua. From here, you'll be escorted to your private motorboat and introduced to your experienced captain. As you glide across the calm Caribbean waters, take in the island's lush rolling hills, secluded coves, and turquoise bays. One of the highlights of your coastal cruise is the famous Hawksbill Rock--a natural rock formation that strikingly resembles a hawk's beak--offering a perfect photo opportunity.
Your captain will anchor in Deep Bay, the site of the Andes shipwreck. This Trinidadian barque sank nearly 100 years ago when its cargo of pitch caught fire, and depending on the tide, the ship's mast may be visible above the water. After another brief safety overview, you'll snorkel over the wreck, discovering a vibrant underwater world filled with colorful coral, tropical fish, and possibly spiny lobsters.
